COMPRESSMAN - The Most Convenient Image Compression And Optimization Tool For Web

Compressman Has Been Upgraded

We have rolled out a major update to Compressman focused on speed, usability, and better control over image optimization.

This release is not just a visual refresh. The project has been moved to a modern CodeIgniter 4 foundation, the frontend workflow has been rebuilt, and the overall compression experience is now much smoother for both single-image and batch use cases.

Here is what is new:

  • Batch image upload with a cleaner and more professional workflow
  • Main preview switching, so any uploaded image can be opened and reviewed instantly
  • Global quality control for all uploaded images, plus individual fine-tuning for each file
  • Export format selection for JPG, PNG, and WEBP
  • ZIP download for full batches, alongside one-by-one downloads when needed
  • Improved PNG handling, including proper transparency support and real PNG output
  • Updated frontend logic for faster, more reliable browser-side compression
  • Better translation support for newly added homepage and runtime texts
  • A live converted-images counter that shows ongoing platform activity

One of the biggest improvements is the way Compressman now handles real-world workflows. Users can upload multiple images at once, compare results more easily, adjust quality with more precision, and export the final files in the format that best fits their project.

We also improved output reliability. Transparent PNG images now keep their transparency correctly, PNG exports remain true PNG files, and the overall compression behavior feels more consistent across different formats.

From a product perspective, this update is about making Compressman more practical for everyday use. It is faster to work with, easier to understand, and much better suited for designers, marketers, ecommerce teams, developers, and anyone who needs to prepare images quickly without leaving the browser.

If you have used Compressman before, you will notice a cleaner workflow and more control. If you are trying it for the first time, this is the best version of the platform so far.

Compress smarter. Keep quality under control. Export faster.
